Legal
Terms of Service
This is a general description of how Meimo ID may be used. It is not a substitute for legal advice specific to your organization or jurisdiction.
Your Meimo ID
Each person may hold one Meimo ID. It is a permanent identifier — once issued, it is never reassigned to a different person, even if the original account is later restricted.
Accurate information
You agree to submit genuine government identity documents that belong to you, and not to attempt to verify an identity that isn't your own. Submissions are checked against real, standardized validation — including checksum verification of a passport's machine-readable zone — and fraudulent submissions may result in account restriction.
Organizations and applications
Organizations integrating “Continue with Meimo” agree to request only the OAuth scopes their application actually needs, to use disclosed identity data solely for the purpose a user consented to, and to comply with the business verification requirements applied to their organization.
Service availability
Meimo ID is provided on an as-available basis. Features under active development may change before they are considered stable.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
